Getting Access & Setup

How do I access my indicators after purchase?

Your indicators are delivered as TradingView Invite-Only scripts. After purchase is confirmed, your TradingView username is added to the access list. Open TradingView, click the Indicators button at the top of any chart, and navigate to the "Invite-Only Scripts" tab. All your TDL indicators will be listed there. Access can take up to 15 minutes to propagate.

What TradingView plan do I need?

The free TradingView plan works for most TDL indicators on a basic single-chart layout. A TradingView Premium or Pro+ plan is recommended if you want to:

  • Run 5+ indicators on the same chart simultaneously
  • Use multiple chart tabs with indicators loaded on each
  • Access higher chart resolution settings

Do the indicators work on TradingView mobile?

Yes. TradingView's iOS and Android apps support Invite-Only scripts. Your TDL indicators will appear in the Invite-Only section of the indicators panel on mobile, same as desktop.

Can I use these on MetaTrader, ThinkorSwim, or other platforms?

No. TDL indicators are built exclusively in TradingView's Pine Script language and are only available on TradingView. They cannot be ported to other platforms.

What markets do the indicators work on?

TDL indicators work on any market available on TradingView: US stocks, ETFs, futures (NQ, ES, YM, CL, GC, etc.), forex pairs, cryptocurrencies, and international equities. Note: some indicators (particularly Macro Compass with COT data) are optimized for markets where COT data is available — primarily US futures and major commodity markets.

Billing & Subscription

How does the free trial work?

The 7-day free trial gives you full access to all indicators in your chosen tier through Whop. Your card is required at signup but will not be charged until after the trial period. Cancel anytime before the 7-day trial ends to avoid being charged. Plans renew monthly at the listed price until cancelled.

Can I switch tiers?

Yes. Contact support via the contact form or TradingView DM to request a tier upgrade or downgrade. Upgrades are typically processed within 24 hours.

Do you offer refunds?

Please refer to the Terms of Service on the website for the current refund policy. If you have a specific billing issue, contact support directly.

Technical

My indicator isn't loading or is showing errors

Try these steps in order:

  1. Check TradingView's status page for any ongoing platform issues
  2. Remove the indicator from your chart and re-add it from Invite-Only Scripts
  3. Clear your browser cache and reload TradingView
  4. Try a different browser
  5. If the error persists, contact support with a screenshot of the error message

The Formation Scanner shows "No data"

Ensure you have selected a sector bucket in the indicator settings — the scanner requires a bucket selection to begin scanning. Some sector buckets may also have limited data availability on certain timeframes. Switch to the daily timeframe and the Tech Large Cap or ETF bucket first to verify the indicator is working.

Signals look different on my chart than in the documentation or screenshots

Check the following:

  • Timeframe: Are you on the recommended timeframe for that indicator?
  • Extended hours: Pre/post-market data can create different bars than regular session data. Compare with extended hours disabled.
  • Settings: Have any settings been modified from their defaults? Reset to defaults to match the documented behavior.
  • Symbol: Some indicators (particularly Macro Compass) are optimized for specific symbols (SPY, ES futures). Behavior on other symbols may differ.
